Revealed: North East's most expensive streets

UK property website Zoopla has revealed which streets have the most expensive houses for sale in Newcastle.
Zoopla’s ‘Property Rich List’ is compiled using their ‘Z-Index’, which is an algorithm used by the company to determine property values.
The data suggests that Whitley Bay is the town with the highest value of houses in the region, with an average of £217,532 per house.
However, that figure is significantly lower than Virginia Water in Surrey, which can claim the title of the UK’s most expensive town, with an average valuation of £1.29m per house.
The most expensive street in the UK has an astonishing average value of £45.4m per home. That’s Kensington Palace Gardens, in London if you were wondering.
