Revolucion de Cuba

Revolution de Cuba is a popular bar offering a range of drinks, food, and activities with a Latin-inspired theme. The venue has a distinct art deco design blended with Cuban-inspired décor, including tiki tables and a dedicated dance floor.

The venue spans three levels, each with a unique offering. The Havana Club bar is located in the cellar and offers cocktail masterclasses and salsa dancing evenings on weekends. It also houses a collection of framed black and white photographs depicting the Cuban revolution.

The Santiago Sun Terrace, located on the upper floor, features a retractable roof and a fireplace. This space remains open even during winter months and also offers a food menu with dishes designed for sharing. The terrace is embellished with artwork that blends Cuban imagery with icons from the North East.

Revolution de Cuba offers a range of cocktails, with a specific focus on rum-based drinks. Their cocktail menu features classics such as mojitos and daiquiris. Additionally, they offer a cocktail masterclass, where participants can learn how to make their own cocktails.

The bar also hosts live music with genres including Latin, reggae, and soul. Salsa classes and dance evenings are regularly scheduled at the Havana Club bar.

The food menu includes a variety of Latin-inspired dishes including a Cuban-themed afternoon tea service with a selection of tapas and a shot of strawberry margarita.

Revolution de Cuba has quickly become an integral part of Newcastle’s nightlife scene. Its Latin vibe, live music, cocktail offerings, and Cuban cuisine create a unique atmosphere, while its central location in the city’s Cloth Market makes it easily accessible.
