It has been billed as the biggest fight in boxing history and who could argue with that?
The fight that everyone in the boxing world has longed for it finally about to happen. On Saturday 2nd May, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will face each other in the ring at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas for the most eagerly anticipated fight of all time.
The fight could gross up to $400m and tickets to see it live in Vegas are going for as much as £60,000 each.
We suspect most of you won’t be fortunate enough to see them battle it out from a ringside seat but there are two great venues to watch the fight live here in Newcastle.
The council have been strict in providing licenses to bars and pubs for the event, so there will only be a limited number of venues allowed to officially show it.
Fluid and Pacific House will both be showing the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight on Saturday 2nd May.
Both venues are advertising it as a ticket only event due to the popularity of the fight and tickets must be purchased by 1st May (see flyer above for more details).
